We are all in this together.

Prisma Health has been the beneficiary of overwhelming community support during the COVID-19 pandemic. Your generous donations of personal protective equipment (PPE) have helped our healthcare teams make a difference in the lives of those we serve daily. In addition, our team members have been fueled by your gifts of snacks and meals – many in partnership with local restaurants and businesses – inspired by your sidewalk art and notes of encouragement, and awed by your many other acts of gratitude.

Other generous donors have stepped forward to support the iVisit: Connecting Patients & Families Fund. This fund helped purchase iPads on rolling stands, allowing patients to connect with family members when no visitors were permitted. Also appreciated were the many donations to Prisma Health’s CARE Fund, which provides financial assistance to Prisma Health team members experiencing hardship because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

In short, the culmination of your gifts enable all of us at Prisma Health to live our purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.

COVID-19 is changing our world. But you can still count on Prisma Health to meet all your healthcare needs – children and adults alike – in a clean, safe environment. As we reopen our hospital services and offices throughout the organization, it will no longer be feasible to accept donations of PPE or food/snacks as of Friday, May 22. Going forward, if you would like to make a donation in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, please consider giving to the Prisma Health CARE Fund. You can make your gift to one of the funds below.

Prisma Health COVID-19 Response Fund: Contributions will fund the purchase of needed items such as personal protective equipment, community testing set-up, and other urgent initiatives.

Prisma Health CARE Fund: Donations will assist team members who are experiencing unexpected financial hardships that may include childcare, utility bills, loss of income due to missed work or other needs.

Prisma Health Rapid Innovation Fund: Donations support the advancement of new initiatives developed by Prisma Health team members to address COVID-19 health care issues.

Prisma Health iVisit Fund: Help purchase iPads on rolling stands so hospital patients can connect with family and friends. Spearheaded by nurses and physicians who saw the need and secured startup funding.
