Greenville Hospital System Office of Philanthropy


Runners raced across Furman University during the Ultimate Stallion 5K May 22, 2010. The run raised funds to send children with cancer to Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center (GHS) Children's Hospital's Camp Courage this summer.

Radiothon
Tune into New Rock 93.3, B93.7, Magic 98.9, Rock 101 or WORD 106.3 Sept. 15-17 to hear on-air personalities share stories from Children's Hospital patients and their families. Sept. 19
Stars & Stripes Challenge Ride
This recreational ride is held immediately before the USA Cycling Professional Championships Road Race and benefits the GHS Oncology Research Institute. Participants challenge the same 22-mile course that professional cyclists will ride later in the day. The race begins at 7:30 a.m. in downtown Greenville. Oct. 7
GHS Field of Dreams
The inaugural Field of Dreams Gala kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 with a dress code of black-tie and sneakers on Fluor Field, home of the Greenville Drive, and supports the Drive Scholars program through the newly launched GHS Medical Experience Academy. GREENVILLE, SC – To help meet the Upstate’s growing healthcare needs and attract young people into the workforce, Greenville Hospital System University Medical Center has launched the GHS Medical Experience Academy, a pipeline for students interested in advanced training in health care. The debut class includes 12 rising high-school seniors, but GHS envisions the program expanding down to the elementary level and up to college.
